Azigen-250 Tablet

Azigen™ 250 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the macrolide class. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eyes in both adults and children. Additionally, it is effective against typhoid fever and certain sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea. The active ingredient Azithromycin 250 mg works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thus preventing the multiplication of bacteria and controlling the spread of infection. Azigen™ 250 Tablet is convenient for once-daily use and can be taken with or without food. It’s important to complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early, to prevent antibiotic resistance and recurrence of infection.
