Febripar – IV Infusion

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

FEBRIPAR™ IV is a fast-acting intravenous paracetamol formulation designed for the management of fever and moderate to severe pain, especially when oral administration is not possible. It ensures rapid relief, excellent tolerance, and effective symptom control.

USES OF FEBRIPAR IV INFUSION INJECTION

1. High-grade fever
2. Post-surgical pain
3. Musculoskeletal pain
4. Acute febrile conditions in hospital settings
5. Fever management in ICU and critical care
6. Pain relief in patients who are NPO (nil per os / nothing by mouth)

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

1. Adult Dose: 1000 mg (1 vial) via slow IV infusion over 15 minutes
2. Administer only under medical supervision
3. Frequency: Up to 4 times in 24 hours (as advised)
4. Not to exceed 4000 mg/day

PRECAUTIONS & SAFETY

1. Monitor liver function in prolonged use
2. Adjust dose in hepatic or renal impairment
3. Avoid in known allergy to paracetamol
4. Use aseptic technique during infusion
