CURIPAN INJECTION is vital for acute gastric management:

Upper GI Bleeding: Used to stabilize the stomach environment and help stop bleeding from ulcers.
GERD with Complications: Provides rapid relief for severe acid reflux when oral therapy is not possible.
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Manages extremely high acid production levels.
Stress Ulcer Prophylaxis: Given to critically ill patients in ICU settings to prevent stomach ulcers.

Pantoprazole is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). When injected, it enters the bloodstream and directly targets the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining, effectively shutting them down to allow the stomach and esophagus to heal.

Timing: Usually administered once or twice daily depending on the clinical condition.
Administration: For Intravenous (IV) infusion or injection only. To be reconstituted and administered by a healthcare professional.
Consistency: Transition to oral Pantoprazole as soon as the patient is able to swallow.
