Curizone-SB inj (1.5 GM)

Critical defense against severe hospital infections.

Curizone-SB is a high-potency injectable antibiotic combination used in hospital settings for serious infections. It combines a third-generation cephalosporin with a beta-lactamase inhibitor, providing a broad spectrum of activity against many life-threatening bacterial pathogens.

Composition

Cefoperazone (1000mg) + Sulbactam (500mg)

Form

Injection

Packing

Strip Pack: 1,5GM Injection

Curizone-SB is used for critical and systemic bacterial infections:

  • Respiratory Tract: Effective for severe pneumonia and lung abscesses.
  • Intra-abdominal Infections: Treats peritonitis and infections of the biliary tract.
  • Sepsis: Used in the management of bacterial septicemia (blood poisoning).
  • Surgical Prophylaxis: Given to prevent infections during and after major surgeries.

Cefoperazone kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that “shields” the Cefoperazone from being destroyed by the defensive enzymes produced by many resistant hospital-acquired bacteria.

  • Timing: Administered at regular intervals as determined by the treating physician.
  • Administration: For Intravenous (IV) or Intramuscular (IM) use only. Must be administered by a qualified healthcare professional.
