AMLOGEN 5MG is a foundational therapy in cardiovascular care:

Hypertension: Lowers elevated arterial blood pressure to prevent complications.

Amlodipine blocks the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle cells. This inhibits muscle contraction, leading to arterial vasodilation, lower peripheral vascular resistance, and improved myocardial oxygen delivery.

Timing: Can be taken with or without food at any convenient time, ideally once daily.

Administration: Swallow whole with a glass of water.

Consistency: Continue therapy long-term as directed; do not discontinue abruptly without

medical advice.

Storage: Store at room temperature in a dry place.

Caution: Mild ankle swelling (edema), flushing, or dizziness may occur initially.
