ROSUGEN 20MG is indicated for intensive lipid optimization:

High-Risk Dyslipidemia: Drastically lowers elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, and ApoB.
Atherosclerosis Management: Slows the progression of atherosclerotic plaque buildup in coronary arteries.
Cardiovascular Prevention: Reduces risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures.

Rosuvastatin competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis. This depletes intrahepatic cholesterol, triggering an upregulation of cell-surface LDL receptors that increases hepatic uptake and clearance of circulating LDL cholesterol.

Timing: Can be taken at any time of day, with or without food.
